Here are a few of my storys:
A Day in the Life of a Tree
For a tree each year is like a day in the life of a kid. Each day a kid just woke up and they're just getting their energy for the day.
That's just like Spring for a tree, because it has just woken up from Winter, it's just getting its leaves back, and it's just getting its energy back for the rest of the year.
Next it's Summer. Kids have just gotten out of school for the day, and everyone is running around screaming because they're so excited that school is out.
For a tree it's just gotten all its leaves back and it's full green again. Then Fall comes and kids everywhere are crying because they have to go to sleep soon, and they really don't want to.
For a tree the kids crying are the leaves falling off of it, and when the kids don't want to go to sleep the trees don't want to go to sleep for the Winter. Then, finally, it's Winter.
All the kids are asleep, and they have their blankets pulled over them. For a tree, this stage is when they have gone to sleep for the Winter and the snow is a "blanket' for them.
